Three Stages for a Proper Exterior Service

The core of all high level polishing and correction must begin with the proper prep

 Regular washing is great maintenance to maintain a clean car. Sometimes your vehicle needs more and our prep wash is a deep dive into a multi-step wash to deep clean down to the surface of all exterior facets of your car. 

 This includes a lengthy decontamination process to remove what the wash couldn't. Things like iron deposits, environmental fallout, tar, tree pitch and sap, bug and baked on road grime.

 Our prep-wash will also remove waxes and oils from the paint revealing what the true hidden condition of the paint really. This is crucial in allowing us to access and estimate what paint correction steps are truly needed.

 Paint correction is the process of using various types of machine polishers, pads, compounds and polishes to remove light to moderate defects in the finish of your cars paint.

 This is not a quick step, while some people treat it as such, those results will not hold up and generally only look good for a day or two.

 Spot by spot, panel by panel we are able to remove defects like swirl marks, hazing and marring. You may not notice them right away but eventually they can cause darker finishes to look lighter and duller.

 These concerns may be caused from aggressive car washing methods, lack of protection, being stored outside regularly and so on.

 Protecting the paint comes in many forms and can get confusing. Wax, paint sealant, ceramic coatings, si02 sprays, spray waxes...ugh.

 A majority of this comes from marketing hype and how to sell the next big thing.

 The truth is all paints systems need a form of hand applied protection. This allows contaminates to wash off easily, keeps your car looking newer longer, cleaner and shinier longer. Most of all, it aids in the protection of the clear top coat from degrading and eventually wearing too thin or even just disappearing.

 Waxes are preferred when caring for beauties that live in the garage and driven occasionally. The gloss, look and feel of a high performing hand applied hard wax can not be beat. They can also be used on daily driven vehicles but they can not handle the daily abuse of our weather. Daily driven vehicles will need more care in maintenance and frequent reapplications as they don't hold up more than a month or two.

 Ceramic coatings are the most durable, in many cases lasting 1-5 years based on maintenance routines along with driving and storage practices. Professional grade coatings can not be washed off as they are chemical resistant. The water beading and surface retention makes water run off quicker given them a self-cleaning effect as well.

Level 1 Exterior

 Restores gloss and removes minor imperfections with up to 80% paint restoration in most cases. Meant for less severe clear coat damage.

Level 2 Exterior

 Removes moderate imperfections with up to 90% paint restoration in most cases. A better package if you are fussy with your vehicle or your vehicle has been ignored for a bit and it's time to take care of it.

  • Two step paint correction 
    • Multiple machine polishers are used to reach all the intricate areas
    • Two step means two polishing products are used to achieve result 
    • Compound for heavy cutting and a polish to refine the surface
  • Your choice of hand applied protection 
    • Wax - temporary up to 3 months (longer when low mileage driven)
    • Ceramic - base level adds up to 9 months of protection
  • Windshield coated for increased visibility

Wash Plus

 Recommended every three months, our Wash Plus is a maintenance routine to keep your vehicle in pristine condition once we have performed high levels of paint polishing.

    • Pre-soak and rinse 
    • Gentle strip wash to remove contaminants and film
  • Remove contamination that may be embedded in the top clear coat
    • Ensures a smooth to the touch surface

    • Sprayable protection used to ensure proper water beading
    • Additional protection from minor elements
    • Applied to glass, paint, trim and chrome
